Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Public Footpath SD151

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath SD151 between its junction with Station Road and its junction with Public Footpath SD93 at Westminster Field from the 10 February 2024
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen by the end of March 2024
The path is to be closed because works are taking place on it to repair and improve the surface and address erosion to the river banks.
The alternative route is via Horton Road, which runs parallel to the public footpath to the east.
